Sketch a Frame

Sketch a Frame is an app where you can quickly draw a geometry and add forces and boundary conditions to visualise deflections, normal forces, moment distribution and normalised redundancy. The app also checks if the model is stable or a mechanism.

The app uses the finite element method (FEM) for the calculations. The elements are modeled as beam elements. The structures shape can also be optimised using genetic algorithm.
